Isobel Ward is Emily's friend of the Fountains High Pretty Cure series. Her alter ego is Cure Funshine, the Pretty Cure of sunshines and smiling suns and her gemstone is the Topaz.
Appearance[]
Isobel has medium blonde hair with soft bangs. She has blue eyes.
In her school uniform, She wears a Fountains High School uniform.
As Cure Funshine, Isobel's hair turns sunshine yellow and grows longer, becoming her length. She has a yellow hairband-like headband with an yellow heart-shaped Topaz in the center and one smiling sun attatched to the sides, and she wears it on the left of her head, her yellow heart-shaped earrings on her ears. Her Uniform costume is yellow with light yellow lining and white highlights. She has a yellow collar, yellow cardigan with a Fountains High emblem on her left side of her cardigan, yellow dress with her bow on her back, and gloves. She also wears her jewel bracelet on her waist, light yellow socks and yellow shoes.
In Super Cure Funshine form, her sleeves are translucent and her bow become longer and lengthen.
In Eternal Cure Funshine form, her hair turns lighter than sunshine yellow and grows longer, her outfit being normal, her sleeves are short solid bubble-like sleeves, her back bow is replaced with light yellow bow in the top and the two thin, long yellow ribbons trailed down from them, her shoes and socks are inverted colours. Her Eternal Rainbow Perfume is hanging on her right hip.
Personality[]
Isobel always looks on the sunny side of life. Happy, perky, and ready to rise with each day, they are equally ready and willing to help others, girl or child alike. Using their Fountains High emblem, they can help by lighting up the darkest night or shine a beacon for all to see. However, they have a tendency to prank others, which can sometimes land them in trouble.

Cure Funshine is the Pretty Cure alter-ego of Isobel, she represents sunshines and smiling suns and holds the power of light.

Normal Form[]
In Classic to S series, Isobel shows her Fontaine Link and presses the yellow heart shaped-Topaz button on the bottom center, making the screen glow yellow. The Fontaine Link says "Welcome!" in a feminine tone, while Isobel shows her yellow School Uniform Key and yells "Pretty Cure! Fountain Makeover!". She inserts her yellow Uniform Key onto the bottom of her Fontaine Link and locks it into place. The Link says, "Let's....GO!" and the screen glows brighter, then flashes yellow. Isobel's body shoots out yellow ribbons, which swirls around her, even her hands, legs/feet, and body forming her gloves, socks, shoes, dress, jewel bracelet, collar and cardigan. Her hair then grows longer and turns sunshine yellow then her hair turns into a Pretty Cure hair style, followed by her bow appearing on her back. She then, places her Fontaine Link on the left side of her bracelet, enpacking it, and her hairband-like headgear and smiling sun appeared on her head, and her yellow earrings appear last. She lands on the ground and does her speech, then her final pose.
Super Form[]
The transformation sequence has same as the normal form of the series, her yellow Super School Uniform Key is inserted into her Fontaine Link instead of her normal School Uniform Key is inserted into her Fontaine Link, her outfit are normal with her translucent sleeves is formed instead of her normal sleeves.
Eternal Form[]
Cure Funshine inserts her yellow Eternal School Uniform Key into her Eternal Rainbow Perfume and locks it into place and yells "Pretty Cure! Fountain Makeover!". Her perfume fills up with yellow liquid that she sprays around her and on her hands, feet and body to make her gloves, socks, shoes, dress, jewel bracelet, collar and cardigan appear. She sprays the perfume once again in the air to create her hairband which she places on her head to make her hair grow longer and turns lighter than sunshine yellow then earrings appear, lastly, her back bow is appeared as she places the Eternal Rainbow Perfume on her right hip and a carrying case encases it. She lands on the ground and then her strikes pose.
